They work great in waves and steady and gusty winds 20-25! and even more wind we are learning! They were able to run the races with just one committee boat and no mark setting boat while making adjustments on the fly with the app on smartphones. We have fewer boats per class and the RC is running rolling 3 minute starts. 4-5 classes started in less than 15 minutes. Then we have courses that are typical in length. 0.5 to 0.7 mile legs usually.
