Dragon fans now have several options for purchasing Dragon logo sailing gear and clothing. All items can be personalized with your boat name and/or sail number (or whatever you want, really).

If you have a US mailing address check out Coral Reef Sailing Apparel. They carry  major sailing brands (Gill, Helly Hansen, Zhik). They also ship to Canada via USPS.
Those of you in Canada can buy similar Dragon logo merchandise at Make Granville Island in Vancouver. They will ship anywhere in Canada.

 We offer Stickers – the circular ones are 4 inches in diameter (about 10cm) and are on a white background. The Dragon logo is 2 x 3 inches (about 5 x 8 cm) and is on a clear background.   • The Royal Dragon
    The Royal Dragon by R. L Hewitt – the story of Bluebottle which was given to the Duke of Edinburgh by the Island Sailing Club of Cowes on his marriage to HRH Princess Elizabeth in 1947. Bluebottle visited Canada in the 50s and raced at some of the Canadian Yacht Clubs. The book is out of print but you can find it via some used book search sites – try searching for “Used Books”
  • 75 Years of the Dragon
    In 2005 Hanseatic Lloyd published a coffee table book celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Dragon Class.
  • How to Build a Dragon Class Sailboat
    Wooden Boat Building recounts the joy of acquiring new skills, such as, working with brass flat bar and stainless steel; how to melt 2,400 pounds of lead wheel-weights to pour the keel; how to roll a hull effortlessly and craft beautiful blocks, almost entirely out of wood, yet strong enough to take an enormous load.
  • History of the Southern Yacht Club
    was officially organized as “boat club” on July 21, 1848, it has hosted countless regattas, supported other yacht clubs, and participated in inter-club competitions. It had a large Dragon fleet during the Olympic years and there are some great stories of Dragons and Dragon racing in the book.
